Description
High Pressure Laminates (HPL) are ultra thin sheets used to cover walls between top cupboard and worktops in kitchens.
They are easy to clean and maintain, they are made of the same skin material as the Getalit worktops. Matching decors are available to achieve a seamless look and flow between the worktop and the wall.
Tips:
- Due to their thin-ness HPLs should be glued to flat surfaces, we often recommend glueing the HPL to a sheet of plywood to ensure a complete level and flat surface. The plywood is then fixed to the wall.
- If you have a gas hob with open flames adequate distance should be left between the flame and the HPL to avoid risk of discoloring. There are no issues with electric or induction hobs.
